Insta Automate is committed to your right to privacy and data control. If you have connected your Instagram account to Insta Automate and wish to have your data permanently deleted, you can request deletion using any of the methods below.
What Data We Delete
Upon a verified deletion request, we permanently remove:
- Your Insta Automate account and profile information
- Your encrypted Instagram access tokens
- All automation configurations (keywords, messages, flows)
- All DM logs and comment history
- Usage statistics associated with your account
- Any other personal data linked to your account
Deletion is completed within 30 days of a verified request. Some data may be retained longer where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records for tax compliance — retained for 7 years per Indian tax law).
Method 1: Delete via the App
- Log in to your Insta Automate account at instautomate.app/dashboard
- Go to Settings → Account
- Click "Delete My Account"
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted immediately. This action is irreversible.
Method 2: Request via Facebook / Instagram Settings
If you connected your account via Instagram OAuth, you can revoke access and request data deletion directly through Facebook:
- Visit your Facebook App Settings
- Find Insta Automate in the list of connected apps
- Click Remove to revoke access
- Then email us at privacy@instautomate.app to confirm full data deletion
Method 3: Email Request
Send a deletion request to:
Please include in your email:
- Your full name
- The email address used to register
- Your Instagram username (if known)
- Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
We will verify your identity and confirm deletion within 5 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
Checking Deletion Status
After submitting a request, you can check the status by emailing privacy@instautomate.app with your original request reference. We will confirm the status and estimated completion date.
Instagram / Meta Data
Deleting your Insta Automate account removes all data we hold. It does not delete your Instagram account or any data held directly by Meta. To manage your Instagram data, visit Instagram's Privacy Center.
